Chief Paulina Horse Camp 
Located near scenic Paulina Lake in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.  This is the only horse campground in the caldera and provides the horse enthusiast a great way to sight-see throughout the entire monument area.

Take Highway 97 south out of Bend for 22 miles; follow signs to Paulina Lake Recreation area

14 horse sites, vault toilets
The spurs are large with double or quadruple corrals. Campers should come prepared, while there is a water pump for the livestock, there is no drinking water. The roads are unpaved as are the spurs.   The sites are all back in, but are ample for most situations.
