Harralson Horse Camp

Although located away from the lake, this small horse camp offers a quiet camping opportunity for equestrians away from the busy North Waldo and Islet Campgrounds. 

Directions: 
From Oakridge, proceed east on Hwy 58 for 25 miles to the Waldo Lake Road (FS road 5897). Follow Waldo Lake Road for 10 1/2 miles to Harralson Horse Camp.

General Information:
This is a fairly undeveloped horse camp. Though there are picnic tables and fire rings for the camper, there are no corrals,  and water is not available at the camp. Drinking water can be obtained at North Waldo Campground and horses can be watered near North Waldo off the Waldo Lake Trail (#3590).The mosquito population is high from June to mid-August and can be quite bothersome, so be prepared.
